In China each Chinese year has its Animal Signs.  If you were born in a monkey year, then there must be a monkey in your heart.

Now try to find out  which animal in your heart here. To know what it mean, read more.....

The Animal that Hides in your Heart

Legend tells us that the Lord Buddha summoned all the animals to come to him before he departed from earth. Only twelve came to bid him farewell and as a reward he named a year after each one in the order they arrived. Tradition says that the animal ruling the year in which a person is born has a profound influence on personality.

"This is the animal that hides in your heart."

In order the animals are Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Boar. Which animal hides in your heart ?

Rat Rats are charming, humourous, honest and meticulous although sometimes power hungry, petty or greedy. Bright, sociable and highly ambitious, the rat is an opportunist who likes to gamble and spend lavishly. Remarkably easy to get along with, hard working and thrifty, the rat is never short of admirers.

Ox Intelligent and self-confident, patient and methodical, helpful and hardworking, the ox appears rigid and slow but a kind and active mind is beneath. A hard worker, the Ox is responsible for family and believes in authority but is sometimes a little stubborn and traditional.

The Ox or the Buffalo sign symbolises prosperity through fortitude and hard work. A person born during this year will be dependable, calm and methodical. A patient and tireless worker, he sticks to routine and conventions. Although he is generally fair-minded and a good listener, it's difficult to make him change his views as he is stubborn and often has strong prejudices. The Ox person can be entrusted with positions of authority and responsibility.

Tiger Courageous, active, and self-assured, a natural leader, passionate and independent, rebellious and dynamic, quick tempered but considerate, affectionate but careless. In the East, the Tiger symbolises power, passion and daring. A rebellious, colourful and unpredictable character, the tiger commands awe and respect.

The impulsiveness and vivacity of the Tiger person are contagious. His vigour and love of life are stimulating and tigers arouse every emotion in people except indifference.

Rabbit Peace loving, with impeccable manners in the pursuit of a good life, the rabbit is intelligent in business with a creative mind but sometimes moody and indifferent. A person born in the year of the Rabbit possesses one of the most fortunate of the twelve animal signs. The Rabbit, or Hare, is the emblem of longevity and derives his essence from the Moon.

The rabbit symbolises graciousness, good manners, sound counsel, kindness and sensitivity to beauty. His soft speech and graceful nimble ways embody all the desirable traits of a successful diplomat or seasoned politician. A person born under this sign will lead a tranquil life, enjoying peace, quiet and congenial environment. Thoroughness makes the rabbit a good scholar, with the ability to shine in law, politics and government.

Dragon Magical, shrewd, intuitive, artistic and very lucky but also stubborn, irritable and impulsive. Full of vitality, self assured, bright, successful, proud and quick-tempered, the Dragon personality is always attractive. The mighty and magnificent Dragon of mythical folklore never ceases to enchant and a Dragon person is full of vitality and strength who is never without admirers. Proud, aristocratic and very direct, the Dragon demands high standards and perfection. He tends to intimidate those who dare challenge him.

Snake Philosophical, wise, calm and understanding, though often fickle or self-indulgent, charming in personality and elegant in dress, the snake is a deep thinker and likes to judge by intuition. Fortunate in wealth, a philosopher, theologian, political wizard, wily financier - the Snake person is the deepest thinker and enigma of the Chinese cycle. A mystic in his own right, he loves good books, food, music, the theatre - he will gravitate toward all the finer things in life. The most beautiful women and powerful men tend to be born under this sign.

Horse Cheerful, quick-witted and popular with a happy outlook, independent, subjective and self-centred, the horse is good at handling wealth. A person born in this year is cheerful, popular with raw sex appeal rather than straight good looks. Earthy and warmly appealing, the horse is very perceptive and talkative.

An adventurer at heart, the horse person is self-reliant, vivacious, energetic, impetuous and even brash. The horse loves exercise both physical and mental. His mind works at remarkable speed and he is open-minded and flexible.

Sheep Intelligent with a mind for business with an artistic inclination, good natured and generous but sometimes undisciplined and irresponsible, the Sheep is also indecisive and passive yet has fantastic luck in her life.

This is the most feminine sign of the zodiac. A person of the Sheep year is called the Good Samaritan of the cycle. Righteous, sincere, mild-mannered, and often shy the sheep is artistic, fashionable and a creative worker. At his worst, he tends to be easily overcome by his emotions, pessimistic and withdrawn.

The Sheep is known for gentle and compassionate ways. He can forgive easily and be understanding about others faults. Fond of children and animals, close to nature and a general homebody the Sheep is apt to mother or even smother the objects of her affections.

Monkey Lively, witty, inventive and intelligent, a fast learner with good memory, selfish and egotistic, the monkey is the zodiac leader in talent and wealth. The Monkey is the sign of the inventor, the improvisor and the motivator in the Chinese zodiac. Clever, flexible and innovative, the monkey can solve intricate problems with ease and is very fast learner with the aptitude for being a good linguist. A person born in this year will be successful at whatever they choose to do. No challenge will be too great.

Rooster Dramatic, hardworking, resourceful, talented and confident, vivacious and popular socially, outspoken and attention-seeking, roosters take good care of their family and can handle money well.

The Rooster is the most misunderstood and eccentric of all the signs. Outwardly the epitome of self-assurance and aggression, at heart the rooster is conservative and old-fashioned. The Rooster-born, especially the men, will be attractive, even dashingly handsome.

There are two distinct type of Roosters. The rapid-firing, extremely talkative ones and the deadly solemn observers. The Rooster has many outstanding qualities to crow about. Sharp, neat, precise, organised, decisive, upright, alert, and most direct, the rooster loves to argue and debate and excels at any career in the public eye.

Dog Honest , faithful and possessing deep loyalty and responsibility, magnanimous and prosperous, guarded and defensive, the dog is never really relaxed despite outer calm. With a glib tongue, practical and realistic, the Dog is trustworthy and generous with a deep sense of justice. A person born in the year of the Dog is honest, intelligent and straightforward, animated, attractive with loads of sex appeal.

Boar - Pig Diligent, courageous, sensitive, indulgent and cultured with a streak of earthy wit, the Pig is a perfect friend although not a deep thinker and rather materialistic, not good at handling money but fortune is always around her.

What makes a good boss?

1.    Be inclusive. With a smaller operation, it's essential that everyone feels like an equal and involved part of the team. A good employer is certain to treat each employee fairly, not only in terms of salary and other forms of compensation, but also in how that employee is involved in the daily function of the business. Encourage feedback, innovation and creativity so employees feel genuinely engaged. "You need to create an environment of integrity, trust and respect to make absolutely certain that everyone is treated fairly, regardless of the differences they may have," says Sheehan. "It's essential to be inclusive, because that keeps everyone on the same page when it comes to the business's long-term goals."

2.    Mission, not just money. Very few businesses operate out of sheer altruism, but that's not to say that turning a profit is the primary philosophical and practical focus. Rather, an effective boss establishes a genuine business mission. How that takes shape depends both on the business and on the overriding focus the boss wants to set. For instance, a restaurant owner may push speedy lunchtime service as a way of serving the time-strapped business community. By contrast, a medical supply outfit may emphasize how its products improve customers' health. Not only can a clear mission serve to motivate employees, it can also infuse a sense of importance in their jobs. "The point to be made is that there's something bigger than money," says Sheehan. "That can really help in keeping employees from feeling as though they have some mundane, day in and day out job."

3.    Nothing to fear but fear itself. Many of us have had bosses who would be right at home with a guillotine next to their desk calendars. Make one mistake on the job and feel free to slip your noggin right in beneath the blade. Conversely, an effective boss encourages his or her employees not to be gun shy about an occasional snafu along the road toward better job performance. "This requires a mentality that encourages learning rather than a fear of making a mistake. Try something new and different, but know we're not going to kill each other if things don't work out," says Sheehan. "I was a swimmer in college and I swam fast when I imagined a shark was after me. I swam just as fast when I imagined I was in the Olympics. It's a question of what you want to focus on -- fear or opportunity."

4.    Don't just lead -- coach. It's common to hear a sports reporter observe that one coach out-coached another in a particular game. The same dynamic holds true for your business, in which you view your position both as a leader and a coach who teaches, encourages and, if need be, corrects employees. "A coach sees things very differently than the players," says Sheehan. "It's important to use that different perspective to educate and encourage. But it's also important, like a good coach, to lead your team by example. For instance, while you should point out mistakes by your employees, be sure to admit when you yourself make a mistake."

5.    It's their careers, too. Don't forget that the people who work for you are looking to you to help them navigate and advance their careers. As I said, it's not all about money. But it is all about making your employees see how to improve and create meaningful careers for themselves. If an employee has a goal of becoming a manager or running his or her own business someday, nurture that goal. Tell them the traits they need to work on to achieve their ultimate plans.

6.    Made, not necessarily born. One final aspect of being a good boss is recognizing that much of what goes into being an effective leader is, in fact, learned behavior. Of course, there always have been and will be bosses who seem to have a flawless touch in leading and motivating. But for every natural, there are just as many top-flight bosses who got that way by attending management classes and seminars, reading books on effective leadership and, just as important, understanding that a good employer naturally attracts first-rate employees. "People can definitely develop good leadership capabilities," says Sheehan. "To a certain degree, we all have innate traits that make us good bosses. All you really have to do is work to develop those traits to their utmost."

7 basic communication tips

1.

Be a better listener. Pay attention to your employees. Sounds simple, but it is a common gripe, says Maureen Dolan Rosen, a human resources expert based in Chapel Hill, N.C. Among the things she stresses in workshops with managers is "learning how to listen better." She'll also offer a story about one of her former bosses, who cleverly perched his hand under his chin and appeared in meetings to be listening intently to whoever was speaking. But if you looked closely, under his glasses, his eyes were closed. He'd use the meetings to snooze.

2.

Make time for employees. Regular, one-on-one meetings with your team members are important; if employees work remotely, meet by phone. If you can't meet weekly, do it at least twice a month. And don't take phone calls during meetings, unless it is an emergency. Show your employees they have your full attention. Talk about their career paths and how you envision them growing in their jobs. On the flip side, employees need to be aware of bosses' time pressures.

3.

Get the word out to those affected as efficiently as possible. Take great pains to reach those who should be in the know about workplace changes coming down from above. This is tough. How easy it is to forget to tell someone, on a timely basis, something they should know about to do their job. But know the downfall: Work may not get done, and you may also look like you aren't in the know — which doesn't exactly inspire confidence in your troops.

4.

Put out a consistent message about your values. Knowing who you are, and what you stand for, can help your employees make better decisions on their own (or at least decisions that you will like better). If you're sending mixed messages, explain them or suffer the consequences.

5.

Give regular feedback; avoid surprises. Employees shouldn't first learn about significant performance issues in an annual evaluation. They should be confronted well beforehand (and as humanely as possible) that there is something they need to improve. "The annual evaluation should be more of a recap," Rosen says.

6.

Be effective in speaking to groups. I'm not talking here about speaking to the local chamber of commerce or Rotary Club — although that is not a bad skill to have too, by the way. I mean employee groups. If you can't speak well at employee meetings or in front of employee groups, you lose credibility as a manager. Learn how to do it; learn how to get better at it. The same thing goes for writing group e-mails.

7.

Don't hide behind e-mails. Most delicate matters must be discussed in person. Most conflicts must be settled in person, or at least by phone. When emotions are involved, e-mail becomes a less-appropriate vehicle to communicate. And e-mail is never an appropriate method to tell someone he or she is being laid off, some experts say. (Yes, I know it happens.) Nonetheless, e-mail is an important communications tool, so I've also included a set of tips on how to communicate best using e-mail.
